Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID) , the World Leader in Digital InvestigationsTM, today announced the Call for Speakers for CEIC(R) 2015, the Computer and Enterprise Investigations Conference. Guidance Software will accept submissions for next year’s conference until November 14, 2014. CEIC 2015 will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, May 18-21, 2015.

CEIC is the industry’s premier cybersecurity, e-discovery, and digital forensics conference. More than 2,000 security and other digital investigations professionals are expected to attend, representing corporations, government agencies, law enforcement, and technology and service providers, as well as industry luminaries.

Sessions such as “Finding Data on Wearable Computing Devices,” “Securing Point-of-Sale Systems” and “The Intersection of Privacy, Security, and E-Discovery” have increased attendance and led the majority of attendees to return year after year. At CEIC 2015, conference attendees will have access to more than 120 educational sessions presented by a wide range of industry experts. They will also have the opportunity to earn CPE credit at every session, earn CLE credits, complete the EnCE(R) and EnCEP(R) exams, renew their EnCE status and have access to hands-on labs, an experience available at no other digital-investigations conference.

“In one day at CEIC, an attendee can learn security best practices from a peer at a Fortune 100 company, hear internationally renowned judges debate e-discovery issues, and see a demo on performing vehicle-system forensics,” said Alex Andrianopoulos, vice president of Marketing for Guidance Software. “CEIC is the most prestigious forum for reaching the digital investigation industry-with its concentration of international experts across security, forensics and e-discovery disciplines.”

The event attracts leading practitioners and thought leaders from around the globe. Guidance Software is seeking submissions from the broadest possible range of highly qualified speakers, from technology executives and government officials looking to share their perspective on prevailing industry trends to those in the trenches responding to security incidents, investigating criminal activity, or managing legal matters.

Topics from CEIC 2014 included:

  • Incident Response and Credit Card Fraud Investigations: The Evolution of Payment Card Data Compromise
