In a year when few expected interest rates to go down, bonds surprised everyone in 2014. In her annual bond investing address at the Baird Advisors Institutional Investors Conference in Kohler, Wis., Baird Director of Asset Management and Chief Investment Officer Mary Ellen Stanek addressed interest rates, the bond market, the Federal Reserve, the municipal bond market, and the economy.
