Guidance Software Delivers TableauTM TD2u Forensic Duplicator; New Product Supports SuperSpeed USB 3.0

Guidance Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID) , the World Leader in Digital InvestigationsTM, today announced the availability of the TableauTM TD2u Forensic Duplicator. Employing Tableau’s fourth-generation advanced duplication technology, the TD2u can image digital storage devices at exceptional speeds in excess of 15 gigabytes per minute while concurrently generating MD5 and SHA-1 hashes.

Used by digital forensic investigation teams within local and national law-enforcement agencies worldwide, Tableau devices have earned a reputation for speed, reliability, and ease of use. In addition to the 15 GB-per-minute imaging speed, the TD2u offers:

  • Integrated, native imaging of USB 3.0, SATA, and IDE/PATA storage devices
  • Imaging of SAS drives with the same TDP6 module used with Tableau TD1 and TD2 duplicators
  • Direct output options for either USB 3.0 or SATA devices
