GoToMeeting Available For New Android Smartwatches

Citrix today announced its popular GoToMeeting mobile application is available for a new line of Android Wear smartwatches. GoToMeeting is a convenient and simple to use online meeting tool, customized for mobile and wearable experiences. GoToMeeting is now available on Google Play for Android Wear watches including the Samsung Gear Live, Moto 360, and LG G Watch.

With GoToMeeting on Android smartwatch, people can easily and discretely join, or leave a GoToMeeting session all with out reaching for their smartphone. The GoToMeeting app for Android Wear allows consumers to:

  • Experience the added convenience and simplicity of a wearable device
  • Join a meeting with one simple touch of the smartwatch
  • Mute or un-mute the call
  • Leave a meeting quickly and easily

Wearable technology is going mainstream as common uses move beyond fitness and sports training applications. According to the 2014 Citrix Wearables Survey Forecast by Wakefield Research, 91% of Americans are excited about wearable tech; watches (30%), clothing (22%) and glasses (19%), while 60% of Americans think wearable tech will be as common as smartphones within the next six years.
