UCB Deploys IMS Health Nexxus Suite and Intelligent Cloud to Drive Commercial Productivity, Accelerate Time to Insight

IMS Health (NYSE:IMS) today announced that it has entered into an innovative collaboration with UCB to help deliver greater business insights and improved operations, leveraging IMS Health’s NexxusTM Commercial Application Suite and the IMS OneTM intelligent cloud. UCB will benefit from integrated information, streamlined operations and aligned decision making across critical commercial functions.

UCB teams in North America will now have access to the Nexxus Suite of interoperable Software-as-a-Service applications for marketing, sales planning, incentive compensation, performance management, mobile sales and master data management. The Nexxus Suite will link seamlessly with UCB’s existing CRM system-delivering an end-to-end solution to help UCB optimize its commercial operations. IMS One, the revolutionary cloud-based platform, will bring together IMS Health’s comprehensive life sciences data with UCB data and information from third-party sources in an integrated solution to dramatically enhance commercial effectiveness and reduce complexity and costs. As part of the agreement, IMS Health also will deploy an on-site services team to deliver analytics expertise and decision support.

UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery and development of innovative medicines and solutions for treating diseases of the immune and central nervous systems, is implementing the IMS Health cloud solutions to transform its commercial model, deliver actionable insights and achieve significant productivity gains. With the Nexxus Suite, UCB can integrate workflows across commercial functions and more closely align market engagement with its brand strategy across multiple channels. IMS One will enable UCB to keep information synchronized and current across systems, as well as accelerate time to insight.
