Intuit Teams Up With Box To Power Cloud Collaboration For Small Businesses and Accountants

Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) is partnering with Box to deliver a new document collaboration center directly inside QuickBooks Online Accountant. The partnership is the latest example of how the QuickBooks ecosystem delivers on the promise of the small business cloud by offering the full range of business management tools that integrate seamlessly together.

QuickBooks Client Document Center Powered by Box

The new document center, which will be available in early 2015, allows accounting professionals to request and receive documents from clients directly inside of the new QuickBooks Online Accountant:

  • Accounting professionals will automatically receive a free 10GB Box account.
  • The document center makes it easy for accounting professionals to request documents, and keep track of what they’ve requested and received.
  • Small businesses can respond to requests, upload documents and view them from within their own QuickBooks Online account.
  • The document center benefits from Box’s best-in-class security standards.

New QuickBooks Offerings for Small Businesses, Developers and Accountants

The partnership with Box is one of the hundred new product enhancements unveiled at QuickBooks Connect, a first-of-its-kind conference that brought together small business, entrepreneurs, accountants and developers. Intuit is also:
