California American Water has entered into an agreement to acquire the operating assets of Ox Bow Marina Mutual Water Company and assume the responsibility for the provision of domestic water services within Oxbow’s service area in Sacramento County.

Ox Bow Marina is located approximately one mile southeast of California American Water’s domestic water system, which serves the City of Isleton as part of its Sacramento service district. Ox Bow provides water service to 95 manufactured home sites and a 400-berth marina. Water supply at Ox Bow is currently produced from two wells that exceed federal standards for arsenic.

Audie Foster. “We will also be pleased to offer expanded services including a customer service center, web self-service, paperless billing, water efficiency programs and rebates and our H2O Help to Others Program, which provides Low-Income Rate Assistance to customer such as seniors on low, fixed incomes and to families facing financial hardships.”

“This is most certainly a positive step to securing long-term quality service for our customers at Oxbow,” said Jake Gibbs, Vice President of the Ox Bow Mutual Water Company Board of Directors.
