Global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) today introduced a new edition of its RiskAgility FM risk and capital modeling solution for life insurers worldwide. Incorporating all the features of the Standard edition, the Team edition adds functionality to provide for improved management, governance and auditability of financial models through new version management, user access control and collaboration tools.

“The RiskAgility FM Standard edition, launched earlier this year, has been well received by our life insurance clients,” said Joel Fox, Towers Watson’s global financial modeling and reporting product group leader for its Life practice. “The new Team edition builds on the extensive capabilities of the Standard edition with functionality that helps insurers embed best practices into their model development processes. The multiuser tools, along with new governance features, help modeling teams coordinate and synchronize their efforts within a secure, managed environment. This improves the efficiency, quality and control of their modeling activities.”

RiskAgility FM is built with the latest software technology for enhanced performance and ease of use. Towers Watson offers a number of regional applications and templates for RiskAgility FM to give users a quick start in modeling common product types in various markets. And models built with Towers Watson MoSes financial modeling software can be imported into RiskAgility FM to benefit from increased performance on the feature-rich development platform.
