BlackRock Advisors, LLC today announced that, at a special meeting of shareholders of BlackRock Real Asset Equity Trust (NYSE:BCF) , BlackRock EcoSolutions Investment Trust (NYSE:BQR) and BlackRock Resources & Commodities Strategy Trust (NYSE:BCX) (collectively, the “Funds”), shareholders of BCF and BQR have approved the reorganization of each of BCF and BQR with and into BCX, with BCX continuing as the surviving Fund (each, a “Reorganization”), and shareholders of BCX have approved the issuance of additional BCX common shares in connection with each Reorganization.
