Questar Gas Recognized by J.D. Power 2015 Gas Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study
Questar Gas received the highest ranking among utilities in the Western region according to the 2015 J.D. Power Gas Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study. Overall satisfaction was measured by examining six factors: billing and payment, corporate citizenship, price, communications, customer service and field service.
“This recognition by J.D. Power is an honor,” said Craig Wagstaff, Questar Gas executive vice president and COO. “We have some of the best customer service people in the industry, and we work hard to provide our customers with safe, reliable and affordable gas service. Seeing that customers value our efforts enough to report positively to J.D. Power is rewarding, and it helps showcase the good people we have working at Questar Gas.”
The study results are also consistent with local research and national accolades regarding Questar Gas. Monthly customer-satisfaction survey results from a Utah-based researcher show that customers consistently give Questar Gas nearly perfect scores on customer service. And Public Utilities Fortnightly recently announced Questar as America’s No. 1 energy company.
In the J.D. Power study, Questar Gas ranks highest in business-customer satisfaction in the Western region, with a score of 730. The 2015 Gas Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study is based on responses from more than 9,200 online interviews with business customers who spend at least $150 monthly on gas. The study was fielded from April through July 2014 and August through December 2014.
