The New York Times News Service & Syndicate Launches New Weekly Personal Finance Guide
The New York Times News Service & Syndicate (www.nytsyn.com) launched a new supplement – “Spending Well: The Weekly Guide to Managing Your Money, Work and Success” – which offers readers advice on how to spend, save, plan and enjoy their time and money now and in the future.
The first edition appeared on Sunday February 15th in U-T San Diego (CA), The Billings Gazette (MT), Bangor Daily News (ME) and the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and their family of newspapers (the Hawaii Herald-Tribune, The Garden Island and West Hawaii Today), with more publications lined up to feature subsequent editions.
The coverage in the supplement, which is created by the reporters and columnists of The New York Times, is a practical and accessible mix of quick tips and planning pieces along with analysis and commentary pegged to real-world household concerns. The personal management pieces offer straight forward discussions on subjects such as investing, homebuying, renting and maintenance; childcare and eldercare and finance-impacting life events.
