Sovran Self Storage Announces Pricing of Public Offering of 1,200,000 Common Shares

Sovran Self Storage, Inc. (NYSE:SSS), announced today that it priced an underwritten public offering of 1,200,000 shares of its common stock at $90.40 per share. The offering was upsized from its original 1,000,000 shares. Net proceeds to the Company after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses are expected to be approximately $103.9 million. The underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 180,000 shares. The offering is expected to close on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 subject to customary closing conditions.

Net proceeds from the offering will be used to repay indebtedness outstanding on the Company’s unsecured line of credit.

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. PNC Capital Markets LLC is acting as lead manager. BB&T Capital Markets, HSBC and Piper Jaffray are acting as co-managers.
