Popeyes(R) Celebrates its Legendary Buttermilk Biscuits with FREE Biscuit Offer for National Biscuit Day

More than 40 years ago, Popeyes(R) Louisiana Kitchen founder, Al Copeland, introduced the Popeyes Buttermilk Biscuit, a superior take on a southern classic. Today, the now legendary Buttermilk Biscuit inspires devout admiration expressed in every forum available from in-restaurant comments to social media posts. This week, Popeyes will honor that tradition, celebrating National Biscuit Day as only Popeyes can.

Guests will receive a FREE biscuit with purchase on National Biscuit Day, May 14th!

In recognition of National Biscuit Day, Popeyes will launch biscuit-themed eCards that can be shared and posted across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Popeyes guests already talk nonstop about Popeyes Buttermilk Biscuits on social media, and these eCards will give biscuit lovers another way to celebrate their love for this Popeyes classic.

That’s really just the beginning because National Biscuit Month is coming up in September. Between now and September, Popeyes will celebrate 100 Days of Biscuits with new eCard releases for posting and sharing as well as a giveaway of 15 Biscuit-themed items per week.
