Interactive Intelligence Ranked among Indiana’s Best Places to Work for Ninth Consecutive Year
Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. (Nasdaq:ININ), a global provider of collaboration, communications and customer engagement software and cloud services, has been named one of Indiana’s 2015 Best Places to Work.
The ranking, coordinated by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, listed Interactive Intelligence 14th this year in the major companies’ category, which includes firms with 1,000-plus employees.
In addition, Interactive Intelligence was named a Hall of Fame winner, which signifies companies that have been named a Best Place to Work in Indiana at least two-thirds of the time since the program began in 2005. This is the ninth consecutive year Interactive Intelligence has been included in the ranking.
Companies nominated for the ranking were evaluated based on workplace policies, practices and demographics. Companies were also qualified based on employee survey responses that measured employee experience.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank our team members whose innovation, tenacity and ambition have helped us become a global leader in the business communications software and services market,” said Dr. Donald E. Brown, Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO. “We’ll remain committed to creating a workplace that inspires these qualities, and I look forward to our combined effort in continuing to reinvent business communications around the globe.”
Dr. Brown founded Interactive Intelligence in 1994 and has since grown it into a publicly traded, global company generating $341.3 million in annual revenues and employing more than 2,000 people worldwide. Of its 2,000-plus global employees, more than 1,000 are based in Indiana.
The Interactive Intelligence Indianapolis world headquarters includes four buildings spanning approximately 450,000 square feet.
The company’s facilities boast an award-winning modern design, fitness center, game room and caf’e. In addition to standard benefits, which include a 401k matching contribution program, Interactive Intelligence offers leadership development programs, paternity leave, an onsite health care clinic, exercise classes, an at-home PC purchase plan, and casual dress code. The company also offers volunteer opportunities for employees through its charitable Interactive Intelligence Foundation.
