George Troyano named President and Publisher of The Journal News
Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE:GCI) today named George Troyano president and publisher of The Journal News in Westchester County, NY. Troyano had served as vice president of sales at The Journal News since 2011.

Prior to joining The Journal News, Troyano served as president and chief operating officer for Review Publishing, where he had operational oversight of the Philadelphia Weekly, Atlantic City Weekly and The South Philly Review. Troyano has also been a group publisher for Broad Street Publishing; senior vice president of sales, marketing and circulation for The Village Voice (NY); division vice president for United Advertising Publications; and held numerous other sales positions.
Troyano holds an MBA from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College. He and his wife, Kari, have three children.
