Brick House Tavern + Tap and Operation Homefront Launch Second Annual “Taste Freedom” Campaign

Brick House Tavern + Tap and Operation Homefront announced today they are bringing back their very successful “Taste Freedom” campaign to honor our nation’s military service men and women and their families. Brick House Tavern + Tap prides itself in celebrating Americans who do extraordinary things, specifically the military’s efforts who go above and beyond the call of duty every day. Last year, “Taste Freedom,” the first of its kind campaign in the restaurant industry, generated more than $136,000 for Operation Homefront, the national nonprofit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. This year, Brick House Tavern + Tap aims to exceed that goal with the help and patriotism of their very generous guests.

To ignite the seven-week campaign, Brick House Tavern + Tap has pledged its support to the “Taste Freedom” campaign with a variety of creative programs for its guests, including:

  • Memorial Day Military Offer: On Memorial Day, May 25, 2015, all active duty and retired military members and their families will receive 20 percent off food at any Brick House Tavern + Tap locations across the country. The offer may be redeemed by showing a military ID.
  • Donations = Free Appetizers and Entrees: From May 21 through July 5, 2015, a $5 donation will earn guests a coupon for a complimentary appetizer of their choice with the purchase of an entree; a $10 donation will earn guests a coupon for a complimentary entree with the purchase of another adult entree of equal or greater value. All coupons are dine-in only and one coupon is allowed per ticket. Coupons are valid from July 6, 2015, through Aug. 2, 2015.
  • Award a Mortgage-Free Home – Brick House Tavern + Tap will salute a deserving military family that has been awarded a mortgage-free home by Operation Homefront and Chase on July 7, 2015, to celebrate the culmination of the campaign.
