ModusLink Named Best E-Commerce Platform and Best International CNP Program at Card Not Present Expo
ModusLink Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ModusLink Global SolutionsTM Inc. (NASDAQ:MLNK) , a global, omni-channel technology and fulfillment provider, announced today it has been awarded the “Best International CNP Program” and “Best E-Commerce Platform/Gateway” Customer Choice awards at the 2015 Card Not Present (CNP) Expo in Orlando, Florida.
ModusLink took home two awards, while fourteen other companies captured either Judges Choice or Customer Choice honors, chosen from a record pool of 90 nominations. For the first year, the award wins were split evenly between domestic and international companies, a testament to the growth in international CNP players, as well as the industry as a whole. The full list of award winners is available here.
ModusLink was recognized for its e-Commerce solutions, which offer clients the fundamental services needed to sell and support online growth globally. By understanding a client’s business, target countries, product categories and brand messaging, ModusLink can configure options in payment, customer support and delivery, enabling clients to manage globally while selling locally.
“Companies are demanding full service, end-to-end e-Commerce solutions that can empower them to quickly and easily build and manage online sales,” said Bram Barendregt, Vice President and General Manager, eBusiness at ModusLink. “We have long been dedicated to providing our customers with the industry’s most complete solution – and we’re thrilled to have our customers recognize that with these awards.”
In addition to the award wins, Andre Malinowksi, Global Managing Director of Payment and Financial Management Services at ModusLink, spoke on a panel entitled, “Not as Simple as it Seems.” On the panel he discussed the common pitfalls that befall companies as they look to expand their e-Commerce businesses in Europe. If you missed the session, his thoughts on the topic can also be found in the recent blog post “European Expansion Pitfalls to Avoid.”
“As e-commerce and mobile payments continue to grow, retailers are reaching beyond their borders to find new markets more often,” said Steve Casco, CEO at CardNotPresent.com. “That evolution is reflected in this year’s CNP Awards, which had a record number of nominations, a record number of votes for Customer Choice nominees and winners from around the globe. The CNP Awards have become the standard by which companies, programs and services around the world are being recognized and judged now and in the future.”
