Popeyes(R) Louisiana Kitchen today announced its newest innovation, Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken, bringing flavor enthusiasts another southern food trend, slow-smoking, done Popeyes way. This is a limited time offer, so Popeyes invites guests to get it while it’s hot!

Our Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken is four tender, juicy, all white meat chicken tenderloins (the most tender and juicy part of white meat chicken), marinated in a blend of slow-smoked chile peppers, garlic, and sea salt. The tenders are hand battered and breaded in a Southern-style crispy coating, and then fried up fresh in our kitchens. Served with a Signature Side, a Buttermilk Biscuit, and our new Garlic Herb Dipping Sauce all for $4.99, this is the hottest deal in the restaurant industry.

“At Popeyes, we bring our guests a constant stream of new, Louisiana-inspired offers that take the latest food trends and put them in the hands of all lovers of good food,” said Hector A. Mu~noz, Chief Marketing Officer – US for Popeyes. “Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken features the flavors of slow-smoked morita chile peppers and garlic in our marinade, bringing a slow-smoked heat to our premium tenderloins we know our guests are going to love.”

Guests can choose our cooked-to-perfection Red Beans & Rice as part of their meal or another flawless Signature Side such as Cole Slaw, Cajun Fries, Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy, Green Beans, or Cajun Rice.

To complement Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken, Popeyes will offer its latest dessert, Lemonade Ice Box Pie. A refreshing, delicious treat, Lemonade Ice Box Pie features a graham cracker crust, sweet, tangy, lemonade pie filling and whipped cream rosettes on top.

Popeyes Smoky Garlic Chile Chicken is available in participating restaurants through June 28th. For more information, please visit
