    The sale of new US homes declined unexpectedly in November in the latest sign the uneven housing recovery was losing momentum toward the end of the year. New US home sales tumbled 1.6 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 438,000 in November, following a 0.7 percent gain the previous month, the Commerce Department
